Media pundits across the spectrum have been critical of President Donald Trump’s picks for cabinet and key positions for his upcoming presidential term starting January 20, 2025. People like Tulsi Gabbard for Director of National Intelligence, Pete Hegseth for Secretary of Defense and Kash Patel for FBI Director have drawn much negative commentary from radical extremist reporters (talking heads) on far-left liberal networks like MSNBC, CNN, NBC, CBS and ABC, to name a few.
[If you’re wondering why the hyperbolic description of left-wing journalists, it’s because it’s the exact type of verbiage they use for those on the right, even if they’re moderate, so what’s fair is fair.]
It really doesn’t matter whom is nominated for whichever position in whatever Republican administration, Democrats consistently go on the attack. They will go to whatever lengths possible to dig up dirt on that person and when they can’t find any dirt, they’ll fabricate something. Who can forget the false smear campaign launched against Supreme Court Justice Bret Kavanaugh? Kavanaugh, one of the most squeaky-clean judges to be nominated, was unfairly and shamelessly accused of very vile behavior, without a scintilla of proof whatsoever. Thankfully, most Republican senators saw through this nonsense and ushered him right on through, but it wasn’t without a nasty, messy scene.
Speaking of fabricated stories designed to take down Republican opponents despised by Democrats, in 2016 Deep State actors used a false report called the Steele Dossier, ultimately bought and paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign, for nefarious purposes, most of which to create a widespread false impression that then candidate Donald Trump was a Russian asset. The Steele Dossier was obviously false but the democrats and a compliant left-wing media were all too happy to play along.
The complaints left-wing journalists and Democrats in general have of Trump’s picks is that they have little to no experience in the positions for which they are nominated. While that may be true of some, many have very useful experience in areas that will affect change. Which is why they are perfect for those jobs.
For decades Americans have had to suffer with the usual long-term politician types in top offices as well as unelected bureaucrats in agencies like the EPA. It is long past time that fresh blood was put in positions to change the system back to the way it was meant to be run. People are tired of the same old, same old. They want real change. Trump and his team represent that change and that is positive change that will make America great again.
At present, President Trump’s picks have been phenomenal, a stark contrast to his uninformed 2016 picks, where he relied on establishment GOP to advise him. Now, if enough Republican senators can muster up the courage needed to vote in Trump’s nominees, we can start the process of enacting common sense policy and restoring stability to this great country.
