How Much Do They Cheat? Let Me Count the Ways.

October 18, 2024

Election Day 2024 is on Tuesday, November 5, when many United States citizens who haven’t yet voted will go to their respective polling places and cast their votes for their candidate of choice. It remains to be seen what will happen at the day’s end when all the votes should be tallied. It seems in the last several elections that certain state election results have been delayed, with Florida being an exception. Florida seems to be the only state that has it together. Thank Governor Ron DeSantis for his leadership where this is concerned. But in many other states, especially swing states, for some reason vote totals just don’t seem be rendered in a timely manner.

One would think it would be pretty simple; votes are cast, officials keep a running tally and at the end of the day the totals are known and the winners announced. One would think. But that’s not how it is in every state. It’s a strange phenomenon that we as Americans can send rockets into space, land men and women on the moon and return them safely back to earth but somehow we cannot figure out the results of elections, a relatively simple task, on the same day that votes are cast.

Some states allow voting by mail prior to election day. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic in 2020, to the chagrin of Republicans, votes were accepted by placing them in designated ballot drop boxes. In another sneaky scheme, ballot harvesting, the practice of one person collecting multiple ballots from other voters and turning them in to election centers where they can then be tallied, became an acceptable form of voting.

The problem with these new unconventional methods of voting is that they open the floodgates to potential fraud in an election, as was most likely the case in 2020. With ballot drop boxes, many of which are unmanned, they can be broken into and ballots can be stolen. This is a huge problem. People in general can’t be trusted to leave drop boxes alone when so much is on the line politically. Ballot harvesting, on the other hand, is an even easier way for vote thieves to steal and cheat.

There are other ways that voter fraud is committed. Unmaintained voter rolls sometimes still contain the names of people who are deceased. Their ballots somehow get into the hands of fraudsters who then cast votes with the illegitimate ballot. Sometimes non-citizens and illegal aliens find ways to register themselves to vote in states that have very lax election laws and whose officials are more than happy to just look the other way. This is an obvious travesty and patently unfair to all those who are here legally and follow the law.

Many contend that all the above actions occurred in the presidential election of 2020. From one state to another there were reports of strange things happening at the polls and elsewhere. Here are just a few:

  • In both Philadelphia and Detroit, Republican observers were removed from, and not allowed to enter, certain Democratic-controlled voting centers
  • Nine observers in Georgia testified that they saw countless irregular ballots without creases or typical markings, which indicated that those ballots did not arrive in envelopes as required
  • A poll watcher in Fulton County, Georgia estimated that about 98 percent of the large number of unusually pristine ballots that she saw were for Joe Biden
  • Thousands of uncounted ballots were found in Floyd, Fayetteville and Walton counties weeks after the election and were mostly from Trump voters
  • In Arizona, in-person voters whose ballots produced error messages from tabulation machines were told to press a button that resulted in their votes not being counted
  • In Pennsylvania just weeks before the election, the Secretary of State and the state Supreme Court allowed for signature matching to not matter in order to make it easier for Democrats to cheat so they can steal the election, which is against state law

There are so many more instances of fraud witnessed in the 2020 election. What is so perplexing is that when the Trump team presented or tried to present facts to the court, they were rejected and/or outright dismissed. It was like it was too much of a bother for state and federal officials to dutifully investigate witness accounts of election fraud. Trump supporters were understandably appalled, wondering why those in high positions do not take this seriously. It smacked of a devious desire to push President Trump out of office when it appeared he had comfortably won the election.

Which is why this election cycle the newly structured Republican National Committee has spent a lot of time and money making sure that Republican voters play by the same rules that Democrats played by in 2020, in order to make this election “Too Big to Rig.”

Why Voter ID Matters in the 2024 Election

October 17, 2024

As we find ourselves deep in another election season, the most important election of our lives, one which will determine whether we as citizens remain free to live the way our forefathers intended or one where our freedoms are seized and the Constitution of the United States discarded, never has our republic been more threatened.

Yes, our republic, not democracy, is threatened, although democracy, if it were our form of government, would also be threatened. Threatened, not by President Trump or by supposed “far right extremists” or any entity or idea the left projects onto their opponents, but by leftist politicians, the democratic establishment, the media, academia, entertainment, Hollywood and more.

It seems like hyperbole to say such a thing, but now more than ever we have seen our government inching closer and closer toward tyranny. Actually, it already exists. One need only look at what has been done to January 6 protesters who have been held in captivity since early 2021. When powers-that-be weaponize certain governmental agencies such as the Department of Justice to go after their political opponents, President Donald Trump being the most notorious one, and others who simply express disagreements or stand up for their personal beliefs, the only conclusion that can be drawn is that this action is tyrannical.

The current Biden/Harris regime wants nothing more than to stay in power. They would like nothing better than to control what Americans do, say and think. Nothing in the Constitution allows an administration that kind of power, though. But they want it and to get it they must win elections. In order to win elections they must sometimes cheat. One way of cheating is by allowing non-citizens and unregistered persons to actually vote.

The rest of us want free and fair elections that include verifying that each voter is eligible to vote. Requiring Voter ID is a very sensible step toward achieving this. So is eliminating ballot drop boxes, halting vote by mail options and outlawing ballot harvesting, to name a few. But I’ll focus on Voter ID.

The case for requiring a voter to present proper identification when voting is to ensure free and fair elections and to verify that the person casting a vote is a United States citizen and legitimately eligible to vote in a U.S. election. But that is not how democrats normally win elections.

There really is no reasonable case against requiring Voter ID. The only reason someone would be against a Voter ID law is to make it easy and possible to cheat, to have people who are not legally allowed to vote to then be able to vote. Those who want free and fair elections would not oppose this; those who don’t want to play fair but would rather cheat would oppose this. It’s really that simple.

It’s past time to pass a Voter ID law, as well as many other mandates when it comes to our elections. Here are some of the things that should be implemented in order to make our elections safe, free and fair:

  • Voter ID and fingerprint match required to vote
  • Valid birth certificate, SS# and fingerprint required to attain Voter ID
  • Paper ballots cast, counted and results submitted on day of election
  • Time off provided for citizens to vote on Election Day
  • Military/National Guard in charge of elections, no partisan counters
  • Ballot harvesting, ballot drop boxes outlawed
  • No voting by mail, absentee voting exception
  • Deadline to register, no same-day registration

Although we know that no matter what standards and requirements are put in place, some will try to find methods of cheating. Implementing these requirements, however, would go a long way toward making our elections legitimate.

Even though no reasonable person would object to requiring Voter ID laws, many still oppose it. The argument seems to be that it would disenfranchise a certain part of the population, people of color, the poor and people who live in rural areas. But everybody knows these assertions are absurd, even those making them. Identification is needed to board an airliner, buy alcohol, purchase firearms and a host of other things. It is disingenuous to insist that this puts some kind of undue hardship on anyone.

Every legal U.S. citizen has the right as well as ample time to acquire voter identification should it become a law, as it should. Having a free and fair election, a truly honest election, is necessary to have confidence that the system works and that those elected were elected in a constitutional and representative way. It’s also important that there is no cheating in electing the most powerful leader in the free world. That’s why Voter ID matters.
